
Michail Ivanov

Michail Ivanov is a socio-legal academic, with research experience in a number of areas, including: property law, tort law, policy issues, responsible research innovation (RRI), family law and commercial law. His main research interests lie in exploring the interactions between society and the law through interdisciplinary approaches.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of International Relations from the University of Adelaide.
Michail is undertaking a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), which considers the social issues arising out of the governance of genetically modified (GM) crops in Australia, placing a particular focus on the regulation of the coexistence of GM and non-GM crops. His PhD is facilitated by the ARC Training Centre for Future Crops Development (as part of its Program 2).
He is also a teaching assistant for Foundations of Law, Tort Law and Property Law at the University of Adelaide. Michail is also a research assistant for, and co-author of, the South Australian Law Reform Institute's (SALRI) forthcoming review of the Real Property Act 1886 (SA).
